UKLFI Charitable Trust held a webinar on Using Litigation to Stop BDS with Marc Zell, chaired by Natasha Hausdorff on Sunday 11 June 2023.
This webinar will focussed on the use of litigation to stop BDS (boycotts, divestment and sanctions) against Israel. The speaker, Marc Zell, has acted in prominent victories over BDS, including the Ariel University/Solar Decathlon case in Spain, Airbnb and Ben & Jerry’s. He explained how these results were achieved and the lessons to be drawn.

Marc Zell, founder of Zell, Aron & Co, is an experienced trans-national litigator, successfully representing business clients in complex litigations and arbitrations around the globe. He has also acted in significant cases seeking restitution or compensation for property taken during the Holocaust, as well as prominent victories over BDS including Airbnb and Ben & Jerry’s.
Marc graduated from Princeton University and University of Maryland School of Law and is a member of bars of the Maryland DC Virginia, the US Supreme Court and Israel as well as various US appellate, district and bankruptcy courts. He serves as a senior member of the executive committee of Ariel University. He is also Vice President of Republicans Overseas, Inc. and Co-Chairman of Republicans Overseas Israel.
Natasha Hausdorff is a barrister at 6 Pump Court Chambers and a frequent speaker on International Law. She has a law degree from Oxford University, qualified as a solicitor at Skadden, and subsequently gained an LLM from Tel Aviv University, focussing on public international law and the law of armed conflict.
She clerked for Miriam Naor, President of Israel’s Supreme Court, and was a Fellow at Columbia Law School’s National Security Program. Natasha is legal director of UKLFI Charitable Trust.
