Webinar – Judicial Reforms: Assessment and Prospects

UKLFI Charitable Trust invites you to a webinar on Judicial Reforms: Assessment and Prospects with Professor Yuval Shany and Professor Avi Bell, chaired by Natasha Hausdorff on Sunday 16th April at 6pm UK time, 8pm Israel, 7pm Europe, 12 noon (US East Coast)

Following major demonstrations, disruption and refusals of some reservists to attend military training, the Israeli government has paused the progress of its proposed judicial reforms in the Knesset to allow negotiations with opposition parties. A compromise package put forward by President Herzog was earlier rejected by the government. In this webinar leading Law Professors Yuval Shany and Avi Bell will assess the proposed legislation and the prospects for compromise or conflict.
